Harborne Cricket Club was founded in 1868, and is one of the leading cricket clubs in the Midlands, one of the few Birmingham & District Premier Cricket League clubs actually in Birmingham, rather than the surrounding area.

Currently, six Saturday and two or three Sunday teams represent the Club at weekends. On Saturdays, the 1st XI and 2nd XIs play in the Birmingham & District Premier Cricket League (BDPCL), whilst the 3rd XI (Knots), 4th XI (Croziers), 5th XI (Nomads) and 6th XI all play in the Worcestershire County League, the Knots and CrozIers competing against other 1st and 2nd XIs respectively..

On Sundays in 2016, the 1st XI play in the Warwickshire Sunday League, and the 2nd XI in the Arden Sunday League, whilst a 3rd XI (Knots) will play Sunday club cricket if there are sufficient players available.

Last season (2015) the Club fielded youth teams from Under 9s all the way up to Under 15s in the Midlands youth league structure.
