In Premier Division Two, three matches were also abandoned without a ball being bowled, while another two were abandoned not long after they started.

Leaders Halesowen had reached 68 for three in the 20th over of their innings against Dorridge when the match was abandoned and the two batting points helped them to retain their lead at the top of the table.

The same fate befell the fixture between Bromsgrove and Barnards Green where no further play was possible after Bromsgrove stood on 41 for one in 10.2 overs.

Much more play was possible at Kenilworth Wardens where Wem were dismissed for 139 in 31.5 overs leaving Wardens a revised target of 131 to win in 34 overs, courtesy of DLS. Harry Chandler top scored for Wem with 64 and Tommy Rex took 3 for 44 for Wardens, taking his tally of wickets for the season to 38. Although Wardens lost two wickets for 29, Nick Seager struck 60 from 67 balls to see them to the brink of victory. With the score on 129, and just three runs required, Wardens lost three wickets without further addition before they crossed the line in the 25th over with four wickets in hand. Andy Harrison was the pick of the Wem attack, finishing with 3 for 30.
